Unofficial Guide for the Lagoon Park

Hours
Lagoon is currently open each Saturday and Sunday, the park will be open 7 days a week starting June 2nd. The park and all the rides open at 11:00 AM weekdays and Sundays, and at 10:00 AM on Saturdays and Holidays.
Lagoon-A-Beach and the Cliffhanger will open in late May to early June.

Lagoon's closing time varies depending on weather and other factors. Pioneer village, Ratttlesnake Rapids and the Log Flume may close earlier than the rest of the park.

How to get there
Lagoon is located 15 miles North of Salt Lake City, Just take the "Lagoon Drive" exit off of I-15 and you're there!

What to bring
Food:
Unlike many amusement parks, Lagoon allows you to bring your own food and drinks into the park. It is not uncommon to see large families bring several coolers with them to the park. There is plenty of picnic space available and it is fairly safe to leave your things in the picnic terraces. Valuables should be put into lockers.
Make sure the terrace you choose isn't being used for a group Lagoon day. I would suggest the Lake Park terrace and Pioneer pavillion if they are not in use.

Shoes:
You will not be allowed on certian rides such as the Paratrooper and Turn of the century if you are wearing open toed sandles.

Coke Can:
Don't forget this if you want to take advantage of the Early bird discount!
